Many believe that the universe, our solar system, and even life itself came from a "Big Bang". This would then mean that Saturn was created and placed into existence in a random way. However, there is another opinion that I would like to share that comes from the Bible. It says that...
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth. Now while Saturn was not mentioned in the Bible, it is there. We believe that God created it when he made the stars, sun, and moon, which was the fourth day of creation. Now this could mean the actual stars, but I believe it is all of the heavenly bodies. My God is a God of order, the "Big Bang" would only create chaos.
The Earth has a lot of evidence that God created it as well, especially against the "Big Bang's Theory" that the earth is millions of years old. For example, it has been measured that the Moon moves away from the Earth at 1 centimeter per year, so if we do the math it would be not that long ago. Additionally, if the moon was closer the effect of the Moon's gravity would be so strong on the Earth that it would be hard for many things to survive.
The alignment of the planets is important too. For example, Jupiter protects Earth from asteroids, the Sun gives life, light, and warmth, and the Earth is at just the right place to be not too hot or not too cold. These are just a few of the things that I understand.
